Friday Celebrations

My reason to celebrate and to be grateful today, is my return to writing. Having been unwell for more than one week, the manuscript has gathered far too much dust and I was beginning to get that feeling - the fear that all creativity would be lost, along with all hope of ever completing my novel.
Well, I'm feeling better although still not great, but I picked up a pen and began once more. The characters are still alive, just waiting around for the next installment. I can see them and I can hear them and the chatter is becoming louder. So, I have much to be thankful for today. I'm equally thankful for all my friends in this cyber auditorium and for their support and wisdom in all things writing. Wishing you all a great weekend.

  1. It's always hard to get back into writing after any kind of break. But you have to just trust that the character voices will start screaming at you again...

    1. Hi Kate and thanks for stopping by. Appreciate your comments. It's always a worry when you have a break but it's like anything - you have to 'get back into the saddle,' and you make it work. All the best.

  2. Glad you are feeling like you can return to writing- it can take getting back into can't it, but if the characters are chattering away that's v. good ;)
